Drafting Coordinator

As a Drafting Coordinator, you will be responsible for digital processes associated with the design and construction stages for a railway project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with Project Coordinator and BIM Modelers in the development of the final design for the equipment layout, cable routing and Cable ways.
- In-charge of providing inputs to the Modeler for the development of station layout and Cable routing drawings for the Final design submission to both Civil and LTA in order to meet contractual dates and cut-offs.
- To develop shop drawing details inline for the installation and Equipment and Cableways and routing and to incorporate/ adapt to the layouts and drawing submission.
- Identify drawing discrepancies and provide technical advice to resolve M&E-related technical issues.
- Coordinate with the BIM/ modeler and to provide inputs on details which modeler will be requiring based on the Typical Installation standard details
- Conduct final check on the layout and routing details before issuing layouts and station design to the Project Coordinators and to ensure required details and standards are all based on the Interface control document ( ICD) requirement. Station layouts must be in accordance with the Sign-off, contract specifications, code of practice and Safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Possess Degree in Electrical Engineering Professional
- Must have minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Electrical engineering practice particularly in MRT project for Depot, Tunnel, station and large infrastructure project.
- Must have experience in the coordination, delivery and installation of equipment for both mainline and Depot with multiple load centers.
- Must have wide experience coordinating an MRT project in Singapore from 66kv to 22kv Substation. Knowledge in the installation and civil provision in the installation of Traction and Service transformer and its delivery to the station.
- Experience in interpreting and understanding Civil Combined Services drawings (CSD), Structural, Electrical& Mechanical drawings (SEM). Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP).
- Experience in handling design coordination, inspections and supervision work.
- Involvement in MRT project in Singapore (North east line, Circle line, Downtown line & Thomson line) is preferred.
- Effective team player, strong Management skills with technical, analytical and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft office and Micro station.
- Knowledge in BIM modeling will be an advantage.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
