Novena, Singapore Hollandse Club Full time

The Hollandse Club is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with specific experience in the maintenance of electrical systems & air conditioning. In this role you will be working with the team on the general upkeep and maintenance of the Club. This is a full-time position, 44 hours, shifts of 5 days per week to include weekends, evenings, and public holidays. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance & Sustainability Manager and in his absence to the Estates Director.

**Responsibilities**
- Performs daily start up, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements. Reports defects and follows up to closure.
- Performs maintenance work related to electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
- Able to understand & interpret SLD and perform trouble shooting. Experienced with single phase and 3 phase circuitry and how it operates. Updating SLD when changes take place.
- Has knowledge of how to use multi meter, ampere meter, megger meter for trouble shooting and checking.
- Able to replace safety protection devices, timers, relay new cable for SSO, improve or modify lighting or fan cabling.
- Familiar with electrical inspection, PM’s, installation, and compliance requirements.
- Has knowledge of Air Conditioning. (Daikin VRV system)
- Schedules and completes a preventive maintenance program of Club buildings and grounds. To compile completed service report and maintain proper documentation.
- Assists the operations team with events set-up, pool float and clearing.
- Smooth and customer friendly day to day collaboration with both internal stakeholders and outsourced vendors.
- Undertakes In house improvement project lead & co-ordinate.
- Repairs and treats structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
- Minor pool maintenance.
- Takes daily/ weekly utilities readings.
- Initiates and implement cost saving repair techniques and program to facilitate cost saving for HC.
- To maintain department working tools, materials (inventory) and machines for serviceability and accountability.
- Authority compliances & licence renewal follow up.
- Ensures that Club premises meets health and safety standards and legal requirements.
- Carries out assessment of requirements for completion of reports, or work orders to the management as stated by standard procedures.
- Engages in flexible work schedules to be able to perform well during emergencies.
- Assists in emergencies, firefighting, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Ensures clear documentation of SOP’s across the Maintenance department.
- Advises on renovation, upgrading activities.
- Coordinates and oversees special projects as directed.
- Any others work or duties as instructed by the Club.

**Requirements**:

- ITE / NITEC / Diploma / Qualifications in Building Maintenance or Electrical installation.
- Those without qualifications but with proven experience of 10 years and exposure will be considered for the position.
- At least 5 years of experience in the related field, preferably in clubs or other hospitality environment.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Good project management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments.
- Must have the ability to adapt to change, be flexible and empathetic.
- Demonstrated initiative - ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
- Must be willing to work shifts and in the evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Local resident who does not require a work pass.
