DESIGNATION : Freight Trading Analyst, SG

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Key Role Responsibilities**
- Assist with managing charterparty database / contract signing
- Assist with daily trade amendments to ensure trade capture and P&L is accurate
- Assist with daily position reporting including both physical and derivative positions
- Assist with month-end amendments and monthly price differential reporting for exposure calculation and ensuring accurate P&L
- Assist with marking internal forward price curves to ensure forward views are accurate and reflect market sentiments
- Prepare the weekly market workflow reports; i.e. rightship / outstandings
- Conduct market research for growth areas and new country entry prospects
- Analyse trade data to provide unique insights to the traders to support better decision making
- Ad-hoc analysis as required by Manager / wider business

QUALIFICATIONS
- 0 to 2 years’ experience preferably gained within a commodities trading environment, audit/ advisory firm or financial institution;
- Good knowledge of MS Office; an interest in building models possibly coding outside excel an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications required;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
