**Summary**
We are looking for a Food Scientist with high-moisture extrusion knowhow. In this position, you are part of our product development team to establish a new product range.
- Analyze new and current products
- Plan and lead R&D projects
- Develop methodology processes to run new R&D projects
- Do product development from ideation stage e.g., texture, taste, formulation, concept approval, and product launch
- Plan and perform extrusion trials
- Set-up experimental designs and establish lab protocols for analysis and characterization of products, e.g., structure and texture analysis, digestibility, nutritional composition
- Investigate and optimize sensory qualities of the product, conduct and evaluate sensory tastings
- Conduct research on food trends, nutritional advantages, and refining of product range e.g., how different ingredients affect stability and properties etc.
- Work with the team on regulatory compliance and quality assurance
**Competencies**
- Master’s degree in food science or related degree
- 1+ years of experience in high-moisture extrusion
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Driven, curious and proactive
- Skills in English speaking and writing, problem-solving and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to research, plan, and present solutions for business-relevant initiatives
- Experience in the plant-based ecosystem is of advantage
- Experience in project management, sensory science, and analytical laboratory is of advantage
**Structure**
- Reports to the company’s CEO
- 5 Days work week

- Buroh Lane (with morning and evening shuttle bus from/to Lakeside MRT station)
