**About the role**:
To support the continuous growth & expansion of Woods Bagot (W-B) in Southeast Asia, our Singapore (SG) Studio is searching for a Business Development Leader to build upon the studio's market profile and increase its exposure and opportunities locally and internationally.
You will work closely with the Studio Leader, as well as the Regional Business Development and Client Communications Group.
**A. Business Development**:
- Engage and develop positive client and business relationships.
- Develop and capture market intelligence and key activity in the market to support the identification of new opportunities, in accordance with W-B Asia’s business plan objectives.
- Identify opportunities for value generation through leveraging existing projects and clients.
- Communicate the portfolio of services and capabilities to clients and consultants.
- Strategize/maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Actively contribute ideas to team meetings and help drive growth.
- Attending business development meetings and functions.
- Undertake research as required for targeting activities, client analysis, proposals, etc.
- Research on the general local market and client trends; e.g. media scanning, government reports, etc.
- Monitor new business and tender opportunities via all internal and external sources.
- Liaise with Project / Bid teams to prepare and write responses and submissions.
- Assist in bid submissions.
- Assist and prepare presentations as required in order to win business opportunities.
- Report on progress in relation to the development of business opportunities.
- Provide support, monitor, and maintain the implementation of Client Road Maps.
- Develop and maintain marketing plans and regularly review against established targets, ensuring follow-up on action items by tracking progress against deadlines, data to be coordinated through Client Road Map management.
- Liaise and report to the Regional Client Stream Leader in Hong Kong on bid reports.
**B. Marketing**
- Liaise with the Global and Regional marketing teams on group marketing matters.
- Prepare marketing materials for bids.
- Engage press opportunities with secondary media outlets.
- Coordinate the input into publications, directories, awards, etc.
- Collate and distribute generic and project-specific press kits to secondary media outlets.
- Maintain and update W-B extranet for press kits.
- Maintain, update and distribute W-B SG press clipping to the group, and existing / target clients.
- Coordinate / design marketing graphics for newsletters, brochures, websites, marketing presentations, events, and any other marketing collateral.
- Maintain and update image library and studio’s capability statements of all sectors.
**Personal Competencies**
- Excellent interpersonal skills with communication in spoken and written English.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role(s), desirable if in a design / architecture-related industry.
- Essential: Prior experience & knowledge in Southeast Asia and Singapore markets and business insights.
- Demonstrated creative design & experience in regional large-scale projects/campaigns.
- Strong problem solving & time management skills to smoothly coordinate and liaise with various internal and external parties.
- Required software skills in MS Office suite & Adobe InDesign to prepare presentation decks and marketing materials.
- Must be fully vaccinated, based in SG, and have the right to live and work in SG.
- A second regional language spoken and written is an added advantage.
- Degree holder in Business / Marketing / Communications from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
