As a Strategy & Planning Specialist with a focus on Data Center site selection and solutioning in the Infrastructure team, you will work with a team of innovators and technologists, together to create next-level solutions that improve the way our business runs. You will serve as in-house consultant to help in evaluating Data Center site selections and verifying the M&E solutioning proposal to ensure our regional Data Center production capability meets the business needs, by leveraging your understanding of the data center M&E design, market dynamics, technology trends, and local relationships.
- Evaluate and verify the Data Center M&E infrastructure system for site selection and solutioning.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and management to plan, develop, and implement Data Center Fit-out solutions, tailored to the business needs and prospects.
- Identify the Data Center market and technology trends that could be game-changers for IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical advice relating to the Data Center M&E system and verifying the Data Centre service level availability report.
- Responsible for strategizing, developing, and maintaining good partnerships with various vendors and system integrators to conceptualize new services and solutions in view of market trends.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Technical Project Management, Data Center Operations, Network Engineering, Procurement,** Legal, Finance, etc) in order to execute Data Center selection strategies and contracts.**

**Continuously working in process improvement plans to streamline contract negotiations and execution.**

**Constantly analyse and improve the cost-effectiveness of the organization’s IT Infrastructure, and make sure it aligns with the business strategy.**

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of working experience as a Data Center Design Consultant / M&E Contractor / Product Manager / Solution Architect in Telco, Cloud, IT or critical infrastructure space.
- Focus on Data Center Cooling System is preferred, with a good understanding of Data Center Power System.
- Ability to perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation / Pressure Drop Calculation will be a plus.
- Relevant certifications from Professional Engineers Board (e.g. FEE, PPE) / Uptime Institute (e.g. ATD / ATS) / TIA-942 (e.g. CDCP / CDCS).
- Resourceful and connected to the Data Center market.
- Keen and demonstrated interest in Infrastructure technology, willing to make an impact for the continuous business growth by providing excellent Infrastructure services and solutions.
- Good experience in developing and communicating strategic plans with stakeholders of all levels (both technical and non-technical), know well of the market and technology trend in the IT Infrastructure space.
- A proven record of commercial awareness. Good experience and understanding of managing IT Infrastructure budgets and forecasts from the commercial perspective.
- Strong team player, able to work well across teams and organizations.
- Self-motivated, adaptive, and positive attitude. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin due to regional coverage.
