**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the construction phase of the data centre fit-out, demonstrating a deep understanding of MEP systems, with a specific emphasis on electrical systems.
- Design Management: Manage the design process effectively, collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure the development of efficient and reliable MEP systems aligned with project requirements.
- Procurement Excellence: Lead the procurement of plant and equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Trade Partner Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with trade partners, subcontractors, and vendors, establishing a collaborative framework for successful project execution.
- Commercial Analysis: Conduct thorough commercial analyses, providing insights into cost-effective solutions without compromising the high-quality standards expected in a data centre environment.
- Technical Reporting: Generate detailed technical reports, communicating project progress, identifying potential challenges, and offering solutions with clarity and precision.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit strong communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding throughout the pre-construction phase.
- Senior-Level Decision-Making: Operate at a very senior level, making strategic decisions that reflect a profound understanding of both commercial and technical considerations.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Instill a culture of partnership and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders, fostering an environment conducive to project success.
- Project Alignment: Ensure alignment with project timelines, quality benchmarks, and overarching data centre fit-out goals during the construction phase.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferably electrical engineering / project management
- Experience: A minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience, showcasing expertise in managing MEP systems, particularly with a focus on electrical systems.
- Data Centre Proficiency: Proven track record in overseeing pre-construction phases for very large-scale data centre projects.
- Commercial and Technical Acumen: Demonstrated skills in conducting detailed commercial analysis and providing technical leadership in complex projects.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective collaboration and leadership in a dynamic environment.
