Singapore R. ANDERSEN & PARTNERS PTE LTD Full time

**About the Client**: KKR (the "firm") is a global alternatives investment firm with nearly five decades of investment management experience and US$624 billion of assets under management as of September 30, 2024. KKR is headquartered in New York and has a presence in 23 cities spanning 4 continents - combining local expertise with a truly global perspective. KKR manages investments across multiple asset classes, including private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit strategies. In addition, KKR Capital Markets supports the firm, portfolio companies, and clients by providing tailored capital markets advice and financing solutions. KKR Capstone has a mission to create value for all stakeholders by identifying and delivering sustainable operational performance within KKR portfolio companies and is an integral part of the firm’s overall approach to value creation. KKR’s Client Solutions team seeks to diversify KKR’s client base to include new investors across all regions and institution types, including a growing focus on the private wealth channel. KKR first established a presence in Asia in 2005. Since then, KKR has grown to approximately US$70 billion of AUM across its strategies in the region, which includes private equity, infrastructure, real estate, credit, impact, and next generation technologies. KKR has approximately 300 executives working across business functions and asset classes with offices in Beijing, Gurugram, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. While nearly all executives are local to their market - and are adept at proprietary sourcing and relationship building within their markets - each closely collaborate with KKR’s team worldwide to leverage the firm’s collective experience. **About the Role**: KKR’s Global Impact team in Asia is based in Singapore and covers the region alongside KKR’s in-country teams. Global Impact is a private equity strategy within KKR and invests in both growth equity and buyout transactions across the region. Global Impact has a global investment mandate, with additional dedicated investment resources in London and New York. Global Impact invests in companies that contribute to measurable, positive social and/or environmental outcomes, alongside financial returns. Global Impact invests in companies whose core product or service provides a solution to a critical and locally relevant environmental or social challenge, as defined by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Leveraging the broader firm’s resources and private equity playbook, Global Impact builds and grows these companies with the objective of ultimately generating attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors. The role’s primary responsibilities include: - Lead commercial due diligence and financial modeling work streams for new deals, and assist senior deal team members with all aspects of the deal execution process. - Participate in the management of existing portfolio companies and oversee value-creation initiatives, actively supporting investee companies to achieve operating and financial success. - Research industry trends and identify investment themes in line with Global Impact’s mandate. - Contribute to deal sourcing and origination. **About the Requirements**: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment banking, management consulting or private equity, in an investing or deals-based role. Prior experience working in the industrials, consumer and education sectors will be considered valuable. - Significant experience undertaking company analysis using established market research, financial modeling and company valuation techniques, for both listed and unlisted companies. - The ability to work both independently as well as part of a highly collaborative, tight-knit team. - A degree of maturity, interpersonal skills, and presence required to effectively promote and represent KKR when interacting with external stakeholders. - Prior experience in impact investing is not required, however a strong interest in impact investing and commitment to sustainability is required. - Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier institution(s).
