About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09The Role: The Associate Commercial Specialist will be integral to the APAC metals and agriculture sales specialist team focusing on supporting Project GAIA's initiatives related to agriculture and metals within S&P Global Commodity Insights. Project GAIA is a multi‐year project that involves a major S&P Global investment to accelerate growth in S&P Global Commodity Insights' Agribusiness and Metals portfolios by establishing a leadership position in these areas. The Associate Commercial Specialist will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders supporting the project, ensuring successful execution across diverse stakeholders. White‐space analysis Reviewing possible cross‐sell opportunities in existing clients Analyzing and mapping out potential prospects to drive new logo sales Outreach to existing clients to support customer retention via dedicated analyst sessions, content sharing, etc. Overall, the Associate will be an instrumental part of the sales specialist team (metals: 2 specialists; agriculture: 4 specialists) to support driving revenue growth and retention. Responsibilities and Impact: Help sales specialists achieve and exceed net‐sales and customer experience targets for Agriculture and Metals across the Commercial team in APAC. Coordinate with the Commercial team to maintain CRM/Salesforce activity log, meeting notes, and provide accurate forecasting of sales opportunities.
