We are seeking an entrepreneurial Junior Category Manager to join the RedMart team. You will sit within the Grocery Category Management team in the RedMart Lazada Singapore business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support to execute optimal category strategy, pricing, promotions, range, availability, and cost prices to expand both sales and margin
- Ensure RedMart has the widest selection and best prices in the market through a mix of international sourcing, marketplace sellers and leveraging competitive intelligence
- Work to develop new sourcing and extended range to ensure we have high quality, good value goods available to our customers all year-round
- Work with existing vendor base to negotiate supplier marketing and advertising spend
- Partner with Retail Operations team to manage inventory levels and wastage
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and vendors to forecast demand and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfillment center
- Employ data-driven decision making to drive the category and develop key insights
- Contribute to RedMart growth by optimizing and streamlining Category management. Contribute to process and systems improvements to minimize time spent on day-to-day tasks to create time for strategic thinking
- Work cross functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Imports, Pricing, Strategy, Finance, Trade Marketing and Marketing to support on strategic projects allowing RedMart to offer the best customer experience.

**Job Requirements**
- Strong interest in ecommerce and retail, with a desire to work with brands to grow their business. Passion for F&B or Groceries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or any relevant degree
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in relevant areas (e-commerce, retail, brand)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and able to work with various stakeholders
- Good work ethic and attitude - adaptable, willing to learn and able to go out of comfort zone
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. You should be comfortable with numbers
