Reporting to the CEO, the Global Head of Corporate Development will be responsible for leading the Corporate Development function at Airwallex. This will include M&A strategy, execution, integration, and strategic investments, as well as spearheading expansion into new geographic markets (whether through organic or inorganic means). Based on our corporate objectives, you’ll strategically source and execute on a broad range of deals that will help Airwallex continue to expand our product range and geographies to enhance our position as the global financial cloud.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work cross functionally with the executive team to help shape Airwallex’s inorganic strategy
- Pursue Airwallex’s M&A and strategic investment opportunities based on our strategy and product roadmap
- Drive the overall deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities
- Manage and lead the M&A transaction process including financial analysis, transaction structuring, diligence, and board presentations
- Assess inbound investor interest in Airwallex and facilitate future fundraising rounds

**What you will bring**:

- 10+ years directly working in Corporate Development
- 5+ years of transactional experience at a top tier investment bank
- Experience leading and managing transactions for tech companies
- Substantial experience and skills in strategic and financial analysis, complex deal structuring, project management, and communication
- Experience working across multiple regions (US, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
- A collaborative approach to leadership, including proven success in attracting and developing talent
