**About World Wide Fund for Nature, Singapore (WWF)**:
WWF Singapore is a Singapore-registered charity, founded by WWF International - the global conservation organization. WWF Singapore works with corporate partners in Singapore for best practices in natural resource management, engages in communications and outreach to raise awareness of critical environmental issues and collaborates with WWF offices in the region to raise funds for important conservation programmes. The WWF Singapore office also provides a hub for regional staff of WWF and supports WWF's operational functions. It works with government, business, other NGOs and the local Singapore community to spearhead efforts to build the region’s expertise in planning and managing natural resources wisely.

**Major Functions**:
The post holder will manage our volunteer recruitment, onboarding, engagement, training and retention. You will work across teams to develop opportunities, activities and new ways of engaging volunteers. You will need to be comfortable with conducting in person and virtual engagements for and with volunteers. You will need to create and disseminate content such as edm’s, webinar sessions to volunteers. You will manage our volunteer database. You must be comfortable and effective in communicating with diverse volunteer profile, WWF staff, donors and partners.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Development of recruitment and retention strategy for volunteers and reactivation strategy for passive volunteers.
- Oversee the selection process and completes onboarding of volunteers.
- Regularly evaluate volunteer management practices and risk mitigation with line manager.
- Develop a volunteer recognition programme with line manager.
- Propose and manage budget for volunteer programmes with line manager.
- Develop and conduct volunteer training sessions.
Support WWF SG by mobilising volunteer support and supervising its ongoing community activities such as nature guiding, clean-up’s, corporate workshops, school talks, fundraising events etc whenever needed.
- Work with various WWF SG teams to identify and develop volunteer roles to match the organizations business objectives and assists in creating role descriptions to articulate the volunteer responsibilities.
- Liaise with various WWF SG teams, donors, partners on volunteer activities and engagement.
- Report and keep records of all engagement activities and volunteer turn outs on a regular basis.
- Able to support WWF cross office related events and volunteer related activities on weekends and public holidays.
- Identifies opportunities for collaborations with social service organisations, community stakeholders, corporate partners and agencies to drive volunteer management.
- Manage the volunteer database.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Environmental/Biological Science/Events Management or related fields.
- Proven volunteer management and project delivery skills, preferably with supervisory skills to manage external vendors and partners.
- Must be confident in a front-line position to manage and work with volunteers from different demographics, donors and partners including community groups and government agencies
- Pleasant and courteous disposition with strong communication skills.
- Analytical and resourceful with keen attention to both details and deadlines.
- Advanced written and verbal English skills, along with the maturity to work in a global, multi-cultural environment.
- Works well in teams and displays initiative to get things done in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Comfortable working onsite for field activities and online for virtual engagements.
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays when necessary.
- Database management skills.

**Working Relationships**:
**Internal** - Works closely with the Education and Outreach team and HR team. Builds and manages a highly collaborative cross-functional relationship with all other teams.

**External **- Builds and manages a highly collaborative relationship with external stakeholders that support WWF volunteer programmes.
