Singapore SEFE MARKETING & TRADING SINGAPORE PTE. LIMITED Full time

The LNG Trader will join a highly performing LNG trading desk active on the global LNG markets. The task will be to actively manage the Asia trading activity with a set of clear P&L targets whilst continuing to support the physical growth and expansion of the Asia business. The position is based in Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Trade LNG cargoes with key ownership of the Asia basin market and participants.
- Focus on the spot trading activity (front 24 months horizon).
- Monitor and understand participant behaviours and market dynamics.
- Identify risks & opportunities and formulate a view to the team.
- Take ownership of existing flow and expand SEFE’s footprint where profitable.
- Reach a clear set of financial and physical targets (individual and collective).
- Manage end-to-end positions, liaising with shipping, operators, derivatives traders, middle and back office.
- Coordinate and support the LNG Origination team for longer dated transactions in Asia.

Skills & Competencies
- Risk taker with high understanding of LNG trading dynamics and drivers.
- Transactional mindset with aptitude to seize and close trading opportunities.
- Numerical and able to identify & categorise risk and reward
- Adaptable with strong communication skill to maintain and build business accounts/relationship.
- Strong team spirit and drive in achieving common goals.

Experience
- Strong experience in commodities trading;
- Established track record in trading LNG in the Asian markets
