We are seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources with Amazon
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a senior advisor and confidant to senior leaders in the region on human capital related matters, helping to ensure that the business has the talent, culture, and commitment necessary to grow and evolve in Asia, and supports these outcomes with efficient processes/systems, relevant compensation/benefits, compliant practices, and smart people analytics;
- Focus on and deliver against the following key priorities: cultivate culture, grow talent, build organization capability, improve organization health, and increase HR effectiveness;
- Foster positive consistent engagement beginning with a great first day and consistent support and development through the employee lifecycle. Oversee and enhance the regional talent management processes and employee development processes. Identify, develop and improve retention of high performers/high potentials;
- Build mechanisms that reinforce and strengthen Amazon’s culture. Ensure people systems work together to support a high achieving, empowered, healthy and transparent culture. Avoid bureaucracy while building sustainable systems capable of handling additional growth and complexity;
- Represent Amazon in conversations with government agencies, customers and other external stakeholders.

- Being a developer of talent, with a passion for hiring and talent assessment to ensure the right people are in the right roles plus developing and empowering colleagues at all levels across Amazon;
- Striking the right balance between speed/flexibility and process/compliance, deploying a highly analytical approach to ensure that the organization rigorously measures and analyzes the right things to drive success;
- Continuously seeing around corners to anticipate future talent needs and developing strategies to meet the needs of rapidly scaling teams while also scaling themselves and the HR team to stay a step ahead;
