Technical Service Executive

**SUMMARY**:
This appointment plays an important role in supporting the engineering team with statistical and technical information through interrogation of various sources; analysis to identify trends providing constructive feedback to the Engineering Team that enables timely and cost-effective action to be taken, contributing to the process of continuous business improvement.
This role will also support the engineering team in a broad range of fleet management disciplines in terms of administrative documentation, knowledge management and regular reports to ensure that the engineering department operates effectively and efficiently in its day to day activities.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES**:
- In conjunction with the Engineering Managers and mileage verification team, review lost mileage and target the worst performing model types. Work with Engineering Managers to identify performance issues and potential solutions. Collectively develop action plans and monitor progress.
- Monitor and report vehicle breakdown trends and root cause analysis.
- Analyze and study the fuel/electrical efficiency of vehicles and recommend changes or modifications to optimize fuel/electrical efficiency.
- Ensure compliance and timely submission of all reports and documentations to authority and management.
- Ensure compliance with engineering documents to maintain ISO accreditations.
- Collaborate with fleet maintenance software supplier for enhancements and authority requirements.
- Undertake the management of ad-hoc engineering projects as defined by the Engineering Director.
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, CONDITIONS SPECIFICATIONS**:
- Passionate in buses, automotive technologies and advancements, as well as a desire to improve Singapore public transport industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office tools especially Microsoft Excel.
- Basic proficiency in Power BI Desktop and related tools, including Power Query.
- Some certifications in data visualization, design, aesthetics and user experience principles is good to have.
- Some knowledge of writing Python scripts, VBA macros is preferred but training will be provided.
- Self-learner and independent.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to use data to improve processes and business growth.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, on the job training will be provided.
Pay: $3,100.00 - $3,800.00 per month
