Global Mangrove Trust (GMT) is a Singapore-based, not-for-profit NGO that works to help communities develop their own local conservation efforts. Founded in 2017, GMT works together with local impact partners, seeking to empower families and businesses globally to support community-based mangrove forestry and aims to develop technology solutions for reforestation projects in South-East Asia. GMT is led by a team of multidisciplinary innovators, educators, and environmentalists; and supported by an advisory board of forward-thinking individuals and organisations.

We’re looking for a **Communications and Content Strategist **who is passionate about simplifying complex concepts and translating them into accessible content for the general public.

You will be responsible for the creation and distribution of content supporting a wide variety of communication efforts that include reporting, stakeholder engagement, and launch campaigns.

You have a knack for graphic design and illustration.

You are comfortable working on multiple projects at a time.

You like bringing fresh ideas and experimenting to create engaging digital content.

You are courageous, empathetic, curious, meticulous and detail oriented.

You are totally comfortable with remote collaboration yet you thrive as part of a community.

**The Job Responsibilities**
- Developing beautiful and compelling content for regenerative websites
- Crafting and publishing press releases and other communications material for sustainability changemakers
- Developing high-quality impact reports to grantmakers
- Spearhead PR Campaigns with impact partners and stakeholders
- Develop cross-functional relationships and provide general communication support for other departments as needed.

**Minimum requirements**

**Please share your creative portfolio or examples of previous work together with your**
- Excellent communication skills, both in speaking and in writing.
- Can-do attitude and comfortable with a highly fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite.
- Demonstrated excellence in Business-to-Business marketing and stakeholder management.

**Preferred requirements**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience working in content marketing, communications, or publishing roles.
- Copywriting skills are a plus.
- Proficiency with one or several SEA languages.
- Hands-on experience with web content management tools (e.g. Wordpress)
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
