**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

We are seeking a highly accomplished Security Manager who will be part of our pre-opening team for the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. As part of the pre-opening team, the incumbent will oversee the development and implementation of the Resort’s security procedures to ensure a successful opening.

In performing this role, the Security Manager’s overarching remit is to ensure the safety and security of the Resort’s guests, staff, and property. This will involve developing the necessary standard operating procedures, protocols, risk assessments and training of staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish the Resort’s security policies and standard operation procedures. This includes developing emergencies response plans and partnering with other members of the pre-opening team to undertake risk assessments to identify the necessary interventions where needed.
- Oversee the daily security operations, including managing, investigating, and resolving any incidents promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and reporting requirements. The Security Manager is also to maintain updated security records and other related documents to enable the accurate monitoring of security in the Resort.
- Manage the security team, and outsourced security personnel (if any) to ensure that all members have a complete understanding of the Resort’s policies and procedures. This includes training new and existing team members, reporting all activities to the Training Manager monthly, and keeping accurate departmental records of all training conducted.

**Job Requirements**
- Degree, diploma or an equivalent professional qualification in Security Management, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in Security Management, preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience in pre-opening security setup and implementation would be useful.
- Extensive knowledge of security policies, procedures, risk management and emergency response.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self-motivation to enroll and complete projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
