**About the Role**

We are seeking a meticulous and client-focused **Onboarding Specialist**to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with sales, compliance, and operations teams to deliver a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding of new clients (corporate, institutional, and retail).
- Review account opening documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with MAS regulations and internal KYC/AML policies.
- Liaise with clients to obtain outstanding information or clarifications during the onboarding process.
- Perform KYC due diligence, screening, and risk classification in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Ensure timely account setup in internal systems and liaise with Operations and Compliance teams for approval workflows.
- Track and monitor onboarding progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the client onboarding experience and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and updating of onboarding procedures, forms, and checklists.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation.
- Support periodic client reviews and account maintenance tasks as required.

**Secondary Responsibilities**
- Assist the Operations team with end-of-day settlement, reconciliation processes, and maintenance of static data in the back-office system.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in client onboarding within a financial institution, preferably in a futures or securities brokerage environment.
- Strong knowledge of KYC/AML requirements and MAS regulatory standards.
- Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and handle Chinese-language documentation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-service mindset.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
- Willingness to work shifts and public holidays.
