**Senior Accountant (1 Year Contract)**

**|Salary from $4800 + 1month completion bonus |Pasir Panjang **| **Immediate Start**
- Our client is a well-known and established apparel company. They are looking for unique individual to join their growing business as a Senior Accountant.**You will report to Accounting Manager. You will manage the General Ledgers of the company supported by the Shared Services Accounting team. Responsible for timely and accurate financials in line with US GAAP, statutory controls and compliance, you will be empowered with opportunities to drive standardization and improvement efforts, through a methodical approach whilst focus to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with both internal and external key stakeholders. This drive to elevate the shared services platform is envisioned to support the future growth of the company.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage the End-to-End Record to Report process - Month End Close, BSPL Flux Analysis, Quarterly Reporting
- Prepare Manual Journal Entries and Intercompany Chargeback
- Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Manage Fixed Assets Administration
- Prepare Quarterly GST Reporting
- Support Compliance, Controls, Audit, and Tax matters
- Demonstrate Customer focus and build effective partnership with various Stakeholder groups
- Exhibit Continuous Process Improvements (Best Practices & Metric Reporting) in Processes
- Maintain Desktop procedure (DTP) as part of Business Continuity Plan
- Assist in projects and ad-hoc assignments

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Subject Matter Expertise in Record to Report process, 5 - 8 years’ experience in Shared Services or Fast-paced MNC environment
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, such as US GAAP or IFRS, and internal control principles, GST reporting regulations
- Proactive, Independent, Meticulous team player with strong Interpersonal & Communication skills
- Curious, Possess Continuous Improvement Mindset (Learn & Unlearn) and the ability to identify Process gaps - Control lapses and Inefficiencies
- Tenacity to achieve results amidst competing priorities and tight timelines
- Proficient in SAP & Microsoft Excel

**OTHER INFORMATION**:

- Location: Pasir Panjang
- Working days: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday (with 1 hr lunch break)
- Salary: S$4800 and above
- Duty Allowance / OT Requirements:

- Overtime pay is not applicable. However, should the staff work beyond 9pm:

- 1) Overtime meal may be reimbursed with receipts submitted (capped at S$15).
- 2) Overtime taxi claim reimbursement
