We seek an Assistant Manager for Science Communications and Outreach for the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

As the Assistant Manager of Science Communications and Outreach, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. This person will:
- Write and edit clear, engaging summaries of scientific work at SPMS, research highlights, and profiles for a general audience.- Produce internal and external communications about SPMS programs, research, students, faculty, and alumni.- Design and lead science outreach programs, workshops, and community events for diverse audiences.- Collaborate and coordinate with researchers and faculty to sustain and develop outreach program and material.- Develop profiles of students, faculty, researchers, and alumni for publicity of achievements and experiences.- Create compelling content to promote the school's undergraduate and postgraduate programs, showcasing key achievements and features.- Engage with special projects that support clear communication, outreach, and enhanced operation of activities in the school.

Requirements- Degree in science, engineering or communications fields.- Experience in marketing communications or media, with proven skills in writing and editing.- Experience in interviewing technical researchers and/or scientists as well as summarizing scientific content.- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected issues with professionalism.- Creative and strategic thinker with a detailed oriented mindset, enthusiastic and passionate about education and promoting academic excellence.
