**What the role is**
- You will lead a team responsible for developing medium to long term economic strategies and annual workplans for the MTI Firefly family.

**What you will be working on**
- This involves analysing the implications of global and domestic developments on Singapore’s economic performance and competitiveness, and evaluating the performance of current strategies. It also involves supporting the MTI senior leadership in developing and prioritising strategies that give Singapore the best chance to succeed, leveraging organisation-wide tools and platforms to ensure the successful implementation of strategies, and translating the strategies into public communications messages that will inspire businesses and workers. Your work will help MTI crystallise future economic goals and pathways to achieve those goals, creating opportunities for Singaporeans.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 8-10 years of working experience - Demonstrated leadership, planning, and organisational abilities - Experience in supporting the senior management in your organisation to formulate and reviewing strategies/policies - Excellent analytical skills - Excellent interpersonal, communications, and stakeholder management skills - Tenacity to clarify ideas and create structure in situations that are novel, uncertain, and ambiguous - Familiarity with data analytics/modelling techniques would be a plus
