**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a portfolio of local and international clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored accounting and tax solutions.
- Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory filings with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
- Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and ensuring compliance.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering their growth and development.
- Review the work of junior team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards and tax legislation in Singapore.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders in a professional and effective manner.
- Assist in business development activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the firm's accounting and tax processes and procedures.
- Handle complex accounting and tax issues, providing well-reasoned and practical solutions.
- Assist with tax audits and investigations by the IRAS.
- Prepare and review management reports and analyses for clients.
- Ensure adherence to the firm's quality control and risk management policies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Possession of a relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA Singapore, ISCA).
- Five years of relevant experience in an accounting firm, with a strong focus on Singaporean taxation.
- In-depth knowledge of Singaporean tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements (e.g., Income Tax Act, GST Act).
- Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients and building strong client relationships.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
- Experience with international taxation.
- Accredited Tax Practitioner with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited (SCTP).
