We are building out a team of Digital Sales Reps to help support our Enterprise customers across Asia Pacific based in the Digital Sales Hubs in Sydney, Tokyo, and Singapore. The “Digital Sales” Enterprise Sales Development” is an inside driven Business Development position responsible for developing new sales pipeline for VMware’s Multi-Cloud portfolio by working directly with customers, as well as by partnering with Regional Directors (RD’s) and core Account Executives for strategic planning and target/prospect identification within a defined account list or territory.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- As a “Digital Sales Enterprise Rep” you will own a pipeline target for a set of customers in a territory/region per quarter.
- Your focus will be on identifying net new pipeline for our Multi-Cloud Solutions and once qualified pipeline has been identified, you will be responsible for collaborating with our core Enterprise Sales team as well as, Partner Sales teams, and Solution Provider ecosystem who will them manage the opportunity directly with the customer.
- You will be working closely with your Enterprise Sales Team on defining your business development focus areas and identifying prospecting opportunities.
- You will engage with your customers daily, ensuring you are connecting with the right stakeholders, understanding where the customer is on their digital and cloud journey.
- You will identify short
- & near-term opportunities but also longer-term areas for development and ensure we continue to nurture & engage with the customer in the technology journey to ensure VMWare is top of mind with any multi-Cloud transformational project.
- Our partners are critical to our success and so working closely with your partners who manage and services these customers will also be a critical element in this role.
- In your first 90 days we will have a robust onboarding and upskilling plan to help ensure you are confident in your VMWare Multi-Cloud messaging, understand the competitive landscape, understand the stakeholders and team at VMware and Partners who can support you in your role
**What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Engage with targeted customers on a regular basis ensuring consistent messaging, support, and ongoing opportunity discussions for VMware Multi-Cloud solutions
- Ongoing customer engagement to nurture the customers short
- & long-term Cloud Transformation journey
- Weekly Enablement to ensure you become an expert on VMware Multi-Cloud solutions, VMware messaging and the competitive landscape and ensure you understand the partner network supporting our customers and their capabilities and relationship with each customer
- Manage a Quarterly pipeline target for your assigned territory which involves Salesforce Pipeline Management, Customer profiling as well as managing a nurturing cycle of activities in each customer
- Collaborate with Enterprise Core sales, BU Specialists & SE’s, Marketing and Partner sales leaders to ensure proper engagement on these opportunities to ensure the best customer experience with VMWare across potentially multiple solutions teams and define next steps on every potential opportunity short or long term
- Identify and establish relationships with new business prospects in your customer
- Navigate org charts through outbound prospecting to identify new opportunities
- Help engage/Market to large audiences (1: many) utilizing web conferencing technologies or Virtual Briefing Centres to foster & develop multi-Cloud pipeline
- Manage and maintain accurate account and opportunity details in Salesforce.
- Identify & engage with our Multi-Cloud Partners to further foster pipeline and opportunities into our selected Enterprise Customers
