**The role in a nutshell**:
The key role of a Payroll Consultant is to manage Singapore payrolls in a fast-paced environment. This role will manage the full payroll process including receiving, processing, validating, and completing payroll related data activities on behalf of Safeguard. The role will also take full ownership of all client communications, ensuring timely responses, follow-through, and resolution of client inquiries.

**How you will make a difference**:

- Accurate and timely processing of client payrolls; from receipt of payroll changes (via various methods) to timely dispatch and approval of client payroll.
- Accurate submission of statutory monthly/yearly/periodic filings such as monthly CPF contribution / ad-hoc IR21 / NS make-up claims / Maternity Leave claims / Enhanced Childcare Leave claims etc.
- Work closely with site managers and employees on payroll and billing queries etc.
- Responsible for the validation of payroll & process
- Maintain all the statutory guidelines in the payroll process and provide training/consultancy to Team / Client
- To be the part of Safeguard Sales’ call (for local knowledge support)
- Support in Year-End processing and documentation
- Review the knowledge documents from time to time and update it.

**What will give you an advantage**:

- 3+ Years of experience in Singapore Payroll.
- Payroll/HR/Finance/Systems background with an understanding of the core competencies of the payroll process
- Team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Able to work under pressure with a good sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel - Expert Level
