**What the role is**
- TEIU was created to evaluate and assess emerging COVID-19 technology to assist our fight against COVID-19, but TEIU was also meant to pivot in “peacetime” to support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies into other facets of healthcare services, so as to alleviate healthcare strain and enable preventive health, etc., in line with MOH’s shift to focus on the HealthierSG strategy. This is part of the overall innovation strategy where we try to deliver impact by facilitating the adoption and scaling of good innovations/innovative products/services across our Public Healthcare Institutions(PHIs). You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

**What you will be working on**
- This role (DD in TEIU, with a secondary role in the MOH Healthcare Innovation Co-ordinating unit) is depended upon to co-develop impactful innovations with and through industry partners and/or PHIs; develop a sense of the innovations within the local and foreign ecosystem to better support sourcing and eventual deployment of innovations; lead the team to directly evaluate, trial and scale the implementation of technologies that will empower population and precision health where needed. Given the complexity of the healthcare ecosystem, especially for entities unfamiliar with the space, the person is expected to put in place processes and structure to help facilitate such interactions to achieve the desired impact in an efficient and effective manner. Work will be within a multi-disciplinary unit (e.g. medical, engineering, science background). It would be upon the DD to assemble, rejuvenate, and motivate the group of diverse individuals to bring out the perspectives of each individual/profession, to orchestrate a cohesive and conducive innovation environment that is forward looking while keeping in mind today’s challenges. Job holder is also expected to demonstrate leadership and influence across various parties in healthcare (MOH and its statutory boards, public/ private healthcare institutions, companies), research organizations and productization community. Impact is delivered through strategic projects that catalyse adoption of specific key technologies for the benefit of the larger healthcare innovation landscape.
