**Description**

You are motivated to develop tinkermind as a thought leader in maker education through the design and implementation of new maker curriculum materials, lessons and activities for school, institutes of higher learning, corporate programmes and related educational opportunities. In this position, you research thoughts, trends and techniques in maker education to determine the best way to conduct a maker education programme, and develop new curriculum content and materials to incorporate those ideas. Your job duties also include reviewing current materials and programmes, helping to improve or change these to better meet changing needs.

You thrive working in a team, and utilize that also as an opportunity to grow the company’s and your own capabilities. Together with your business development team members, you coordinate resources, both internally and externally. You schedule people and places with clockwork precision. You identify needs and accommodate them, and are not afraid to share constructive input on how to make things better.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify new areas of growth in maker curriculum, school programmes and other business development opportunities from existing and new platforms, including but not exclusive to, government procurement portals, conferences, and conversations with educators.
- Identify & lead evaluation of new content areas to add to our line of programme offerings to ensure that they continue to stay relevant to school opportunities, platforms and prospects
- Identify and develop partners, including freelance trainers, for content development and workshop support.
- Coordinate and work with Manager, Business Development to prepare and submit proposals for relevant business opportunity platforms and prospects.
- Propose procurement of resources, including materials and equipment, to fulfil our programmes and services, as well as for programme and product development. Plan deployment of resources, including manpower, to fulfil our programmes and services.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task with a high volume of personal interaction with colleagues, partners and vendors.
- Comfortable working in physical, virtual, and offsite environments, with a preference for familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
- Good attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of traditional and digital fabrication technology, including but not limited to coding and robotics, 3D printing and sewing, would be a bonus. Otherwise, a positive attitude to learn more about these technologies would be necessary.
- Strong work ethic and ability to treat documents with confidentiality.
- Strong ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting and provide leadership within a team setting when required.
