Rainbow Centre is looking for a **Head of** **Facilities** to lead the facilities team in ensuring that our buildings and facilities are accessible, safe and reliable, to support the empowerment and inclusion of our users. The postholder will oversee the day-to-day management of our campuses’ operations and is also responsible for managing related contracts and vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

- **Overseeing facilities and operations management, **including estate management, developing comprehensive policies and work processes to identify and correct facility deficiencies and ensuring the overall smooth running of the facilities and operations.
- **Project management, **by being Rainbow Centre’s representative (Qualified Person) to oversee the construction of our new campus.
- **Oversee health, safety and environmental (HSE) issues,** by guiding and mentoring the HSE Assistant Manager.
- **Responsible for optimisation of resources, **by managing the annual budget for facilities and operations management.
- **Staff Enablement**, including cultivating a high performance team through promoting learning and development, and providing performance feedback.

You:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Estate / Facility management or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 - 10 years’ relevant experience in facilities / contract management, and at least 2 years in a management capacity
- Familiar with the Fire Safety regulations and other BCA requirements - certification as a Fire Safety Manager /Officer/ Safety Supervisor will be advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage different groups of stakeholders
- Highly organised and detail-oriented to manage multiple concurrent tasks
