Job Responsibilities (What you will be doing)

As the leader on the store floor, you are responsible for the management and activities of all aspects of store operations. Major areas of responsibility include hiring, developing, managing, motivating and training of staff. Other key areas of focus are, inventory management, floor management, visual merchandising, sales and budget planning and most importantly, ensuring an AMAZING shopping experience
- Proven ability to drive amazing customer experiences — and results — through team development.
- Maintain presence through effective floor management and ensure staff coverage in all areas of the store as needed
- You passionately lead, coach and educate on the retail floor, empowering your team
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples
- Train and motivate all associates through on-going programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge
- Prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules and daily agendas to meet business goals; hold team accountable to achieving goals
- Proven ability to think through complex issues, and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities
- You work closely with your leadership team, producing results and analysing weekly and daily business goals to achieve extraordinary company results
- You perform and complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required by your leadership team
- You proactively recruit to fill your people pipeline; always on the lookout for amazing additions to your team
- Always curious, you stay relevant and updated with furniture trends
- You always stay curious/sensitive with our competitor landscape
- You proactively acquire knowledge regarding company general information, store policies and processes, quality control, new launches, customers feedback/ experiences, and staff information by consistently reviewing company communication.
- As leader of the store you embrace and share Castlery guidelines, golden standards and vision

Job Requirements
- You have demonstrated leadership ability with at least 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
- You possess effective communication, superior organization and leadership skills
- You have excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- You have a commitment to quality with exceptional attention to details
- You are customer centric and possess strong people skills (approachable, good listener and empathetic)
- You are committed to giving and receiving feedback - you feel there is always more to learn and are open to feedback on your performance
- You are an excellent team player - always in the game right along with your team
- You are flexible with your schedule. Your work hours will be based on business needs.
- You have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- You have a strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Additional Requirements
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor and stockroom for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $8,500.00 per month
