Get into the playground with your knowledge and experience to build the local commercial and branded channels plan within APAC region by translating and aligning with the global commercial strategy.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Translate and build global direction into the APAC Branded Channel Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) and then review and govern delivery via ongoing performance tracking
- Lead channel performance tracking in collaboration with the BU (Business Unit) Leads, Business Intelligence team and Functional SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)
- Drive course-correction and mitigation when deviation from plan demonstrating in-depth channel expertise from across the Region and from relevant cross-channel and global standard methodology
- Relate the Branded channel performance to broader B2B performance across traditional channels (including Grocery, Toy Specialists, and eComm) and then identify and act upon trends
- Support and develop LEGO Certified Stores (LCS) expansion plans and monitor performance of existing store base across markets (both in terms of like-for-like and total growth)
- Evaluate new LCS Partners and Store locations by collaborating with BU Account Teams and support building LCS store expansion cases for centralized sign-off
- Develop and implement strategic commercial projects in relation to the markets and channels and contribute to the APAC RCD agenda as part of the Regional team
- This incumbent is encouraged to be the expert within the specific channel(s) scope and to be able to advise local team on commercial execution, support with planning and own consolidation of findings across all markets/globally
- Act as the APAC Branded Channels representative to Global Channel and Sales Management team feeding in the needs and requirements of the region to ensure our voice is heard

The APAC Regional Commercial Development (RCD) function is responsible for translating the Global Market and Commercial Development agenda into APAC regional priorities in addition to finding opportunities and initiatives aligned to the global commercial strategy. This includes partnering with the BU’s to build and implement the commercial and channel plans locally.

The broader RCD department responsibilities include channel strategy and expansion, sales processes and planning, regional account development, portfolio segmentation, revenue management, sales capability building, unlocking commercial value plus the deployment of sales tools and system planning.

**Do you have what it takes**:

- Proven experience in similar roles in Consumer Goods / Retail / FMCG / General Merchandise companies
- Previous Sales and/or Retail experience preferred
- Consistent track record of delivering business performance
- Experience from working internationally or with international companies/brands. Work experience within Asia is a key advantage.
- Strategic problem solver; ability to think conceptually which is critical to developing regional / global plans and strategies
- Strong analytical skills and/or data analysis experience
- Validated working cross-functionally / cross-regionally
- Excellent collaborator management and communication skills with the ability to influence peers and senior collaborators
- Collaborator management with external business partners with understanding of cultural and business customs
- Strategic approach with strong commercial competence
- Persistent and have a high drive/can-do mentality and a high degree of self-motivation
- Strong experience to work collaboratively in matrix organizations, role modeling processes and governance
- Self-starter with an ability to work through ambiguity
- Some international travel required, predominantly in the APAC region
