**Job Summary**: Our client is a global investment platform. In Asia, they co-invest with real estate development partners and high net worth family offices to achieve their goals. They generate long-lasting value through creating environments and investing in companies that drive innovation and community. In the United States, they develop, renovate, and manage real estate across the asset classes. They are looking for an Investment Director to join their office in Singapore and focus on platform investment opportunities ideally in the traditional real estate, proptech, or sustainability tech area in Asia.

- Create and prepare investment materials, including presentations, investment memorandums and investment analysis
- Build and present sophisticated, industry-leading financial models
- Lead negotiations, term sheets, legal discussions, due diligence and deal execution
- Build strong, cohesive partnerships with external parties such as brokers, placement agents, advisers, architects, developers, and venture capital partners
- Fundraise on existing deals and future investments, and manage investor due diligence, documentation, and fund-level setup
- Participate in all aspects of the business including meetings with senior professionals and key investors, investor relations and more
- Generate business ideas, analyse investment opportunities and make investment recommendations
- Work closely with investee companies with respect to monitoring ongoing investment including overseeing operations
- Help on managing overall business of the firm

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree or above from a leading university, preferably in finance, business or economics
- Relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance advisory, consulting, asset management or real estate
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills & excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Complete fluency in English & excellent communication skills
- Self-starter who can work with low supervision and under pressure in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Skills**
- Previous transactional and operational experience in Asia particularly in real estate and venture capital
- Strong presentation, research, financial modelling, analytical and valuation skills
- Detail oriented & excellent organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize; attention to detail
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, proactive and hardworking
- Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
- Experience in legal / tax / deal structuring would be advantageous
