**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead deal origination, evaluation, acquisition and post-acquisition initiatives
- Alongside other senior team members, contributing to the development of investment strategies and adjusting strategies in relation to market changes
- Financial modelling and driving various due-diligence (commercial and technical)
- Preparing papers for internal approvals, and presenting to Board of Directors and Investment Committee
- Guide and supervise team members and reviewing the output to ensure accuracy
- Drive partner engagement, deal structuring, legal negotiations, management of other consultants, etc
- Provide support to the asset management teams to managing existing investments and proactively exploring opportunities to add value
- Participating in fundraising and investor relations activities as needed
- Developing and maintaining insightful business and industry research and/or updates
- Collaboration with other business units within the SJ Group

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in economics/finance/investment or real estate with minimum 10 years’ experience working in investment or professional services, and minimum 3 years in a leadership role
- Financial modelling experience (DCF, sensitivity and comparable analysis)
- Proven deal origination and closing track record in ASEAN and/or South Asia
- Strong understanding of valuation techniques
- Experience in fund raising will be beneficial
- High attention to detail and strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- High proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Self-motivated, willing to learn and be able to work well as part of a team
