**Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Regional Oversight & Leadership:

- Oversee and coordinate financial activities across multiple offices in Asia.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance teams, fostering operational excellence and growth in the Finance function.

Accounting & Reporting:

- Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting by offices in the Region.
- Review monthly financial statements, balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with local finance teams to maintain consistency in accounting practices and adherence to global accounting policies. Accounts Receivable
- Drive Accounts Receivable performance by instilling a proactive focus on AR collections.
- Review monthly AR reports and ensure rigorous monitoring and following-up of delinquent customer accounts.
- Compile monthly AR Aging reports for submission to head office.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process for the region.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Compliance & Audit:

- Ensure offices comply with local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Work with offices and external tax advisors to implement tax compliance, planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial reporting standards.

Process Improvement & Strategy:

- Implement and maintain standardized accounting procedures across the region.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the finance organization.
- Drive outsourcing strategy by expanding outsourcing of accounting processes and collaborating with shared service center to optimize such processes.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives from corporate and regional management.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance & Accounting or a related field; CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in managerial/leadership position.
- Strong technical skills in accounting and bookkeeping. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Prior experience with centralization of accounting - as well as experience with transferring accounting processes to shared service center - is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. - High level of self-motivation and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems or ERP software.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multinational environment is preferred.
