Formative Search has partnered with an exciting newly set up Renewable Energy developer who are solidly expanding across Asia Pacific. The regional head is a long time partner of our business, and we have agreed to secure a Country Head for their new Australia build out. This platform will be for developing large scale projects in both onshore mainstream renewables technologies in Wind, Solar, & Energy Storage, but also emerging Tech like Hydrogen & Ammonia.
**What will the Country Head of Renewables be doing?**
- Identify and develop renewable energy projects consistent with the company goals and objectives.
- Develop, maintain and promote the business case for each development project
- Deliver assigned tasks on time, budget and to agreed quality.
- Negotiate and secure property agreements with landowners to provide appropriate rights to develop, construct and operate renewable energy facilities.
- Secure all third-party consents necessary to build and operate renewable energy facilities
- Manage aspects of the grid connection process.
- Coordinate the technical aspects of the due diligence process.
**What will the Country Head of Renewables look like?**
- Must have at least 10 years of development experience in the energy industry across Australia.
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, policy and regulations, as well as an intimate understanding of the changing power markets.
- Having solid experience working with related stakeholders in the energy sector of Australia.
- Strong understanding of the power project development process, with a credible track record ideally with recent solar or wind energy projects anywhere in the country.
