We are looking for a Marine Service Engineer to jpin our team in Sinagpore. This is an exciting time to join the team as our Marine business grows from strength to strength.

About The Role:

- Pursue sales leads from customers including requirements for quotation on servicing, preventive maintenance & repair in Marine Sector.
- Liaise with colleagues to coordinate activities in executing service / parts orders.
- Liaise with Division on engineering matters with respect to technical details, specifications, etc.
- Coordination with customers, colleagues (Inter-company/department), contractors & vendors to ensure committed service work scopes are performed and completed without unplanned production and/or business interruption.
- Adhere to all legal, customers’ and company’s safety rules and regulations to ensure safety of personnel, equipment and property, including house-keeping.
- Maintain company’s professional image at all-time, including dress code, conduct, vehicle/tools/PPE maintenance, etc.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on site/equipment conditions and make reporst as required by customers or colleagues, on all service related activities
- Manage and perfrom on-going service jobs/projects requiring site/onboard attendance such as installation supervision, equipment commission, maintenance and trouble shooting
- Technical support for the customers which includes remote troubleshooting, sourcing of obsolete components, warranty issues, etc.
- Follow up with other back-end activities, such as management of Work-In-Progress,advise on spare parts correctness, support on projects, document requests etc
- Effective customer management, maintaining strong relationships with customers to achieve positive customer satisfaction
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments from time to time in accordance with Business Line Manager’s instructions

What We Are Looking For:

- At least 3 years of hands-on working experience in the Marine environment, preferable with good knowledge in air compressor / gas generation fundamentals / principles and its related systems’ repair and troubleshooting.
- Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent
- Customer oriented and team player.
- Able to work independently in challenging and demanding environments.
- Good logic & analytical skill
- Self-Starter and Proactive with good interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel
- Familiar with how things work in the marine industry (Procedures, certificates, formalities etc.)
- Able to multi-task with positive attitude
- Willing to work irregular hours
- Willingness and ability to mobilize onboard or overseas on a short notice
