About the role

Good Gear Solution Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in the Tuas West Region. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our range of industrial machinery and equipment. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to apply your Mechanical Engineering expertise and contribute to the efficient operations of our business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of industrial equipment
  2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing effective solutions
  3. Performing scheduled and emergency repairs to ensure minimal downtime for our clients
  4. Collaborating with the production team to optimize equipment performance and efficiency
  5. Maintaining detailed records of all servicing and repair work
  6. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

  7. Providing technical guidance and support to the broader team as required

  8. PSV/SRV testing and jobs onsite or shipyard for the customers who need us.

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar role
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work
  7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
