Commercial Finance Manager

Cisco seeks a Commercial Finance Manager, who will be responsible for managing, supporting and coordinating the deal structuring, review, and approval process related to accounts and/or geographies that are part of the Greater China Region.

The Commercial Finance Manager will become an integral part of the sales efforts around deal management, working closely with Area VPs, Client Directors, Finance, and many other internal and external stakeholders involved in a potential business transaction.

The Commercial Finance Manager will become exposed to many disciplines within the business and will play a critical role by managing complex, non-standard, business opportunities.

**What You’ll Do**

Partner with the Business teams to determine initiatives and drive a balanced score card for Business overall Finance support.

Oversight on all financial policies, especially those regarding US GAAP and SOX compliance.

Strengthen the control environment on China's Channels business by identifying weaknesses and offering remediation through teamwork with the business partners.

Coordination with Finance, Architecture, Legal (etc) for Business initiatives.

Working with Brand Protection to interpret reports to identify areas of concerns to strengthen the control environment.

Support business capacity/productivity, partner profitability Business' working capital oversight, streamline Business programs.

**Who you are**

You are expected to work across a varied set of internal and external partners, including non-finance functions, while understanding capabilities and limitations of current systems and processes.

Able to develop good understanding of the business, the significant drivers and the management team's needs.

Provides sound advice on utilizing financial resources effectively and enable the business to plan ahead accordingly

Maintains a high level of integrity and objectivity as well as championing Cisco’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

A good interpersonal and communications skills, a strong team player with a can-do attitude and focus on a win-win philosophy.

A self-starter who is able to work under pressure.

**Educational Background Recommended**

A BS Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business

Minimum of 10 years’ working experience

Working Experience in Deal preparation and analysis environment is a strong advantage
