**Key Responsibilities**
SATS Training Team led by the Executive Sous Chef will deliver training professionally, by a dedicated team of trained members with culinary support. This is a key strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and driving a service culture that supports the SATS Core values.
This role will be done in partnership with the Human Capital and the leaders of Food Solutions, for development and delivering training programs, to support and deliver key service outcomes for our customers.
- Review and design creative training materials to shape and drive a uniquely SATS service culture and standard
- Develop service level standards for different customer segments (Internal and External).
- Develop new recipes, review and improve existing recipes for new or existing culinary training programs, taking into account customer requirement, latest culinary trends and cost.
- Conduct training for both external and internal customer as and when required.
- Plan, organize, and lead training programs including but not limited to culinary and workplace safety and ensure proper execution at all levels.
- Ensure training standards are met.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programme and maintain training metrics.
- Encourage lifelong progressive learning amongst staff and ensure staff skills remain relevant in changing business environment.
- Ensure systems are in place and are utilised to capture and report service metrics, including customer feedback or new trends in Food & Beverage
- Ensure smooth running of training kitchen
- Provide support for meal presentation and company functions or events during special events
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
- Undertake any secondary appointment and other duties as assigned.
**Key Requirements**
- ACTA or ACLP qualified, or be prepared to do external training to achieve this mandatory level
- Must be willing to work hands-on in various classes on SATS premises and also at external venues.
- WSQ DACE or DDDLP qualification would be at an advantage
- At least 5 years working experience, at a senior position
- 10 years’ experience as a chef - post apprenticeship/training
- Strong strategic and customer focus, and the ability to be flexible on training programs as desired by the customers
- Experience in the curation of engaging training materials and reports for senior management and key stakeholders
- Experience in development of training programs
- Has initiative, is self-driven and results oriented
- Team player and has positive attitude
- Ability to motivate and communicate with others, at all levels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
