Job Description
- The **Senior** **Director of Sustainability **leads this organization.
- The role is responsible for ideating to leading the operationalization of sustainability targets across all areas of Operations.
- We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven leader who will direct, develop, and implement the necessary functional and process competencies to drive progress in all the pillars such as Emissions, Water, Waste, Responsible Sourcing, Responsible Supply chain, Product life cycle, Recycling, Circular economy, Human rights, Health and Safety and more within Global Operations.
- The role closely partners with the Corporate Sustainability Team to define priorities, strategies and drives the functional teams in global operations to deliver committed results.
- We are looking for a driven and visionary leader with curiosity, initiative, and the energy to blaze new trails. Passion for a greener planet and demonstrated change management experience will help bring greater value to this role.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- ** Lead** the sustainability team for global operations and oversee the delivery of sustainability targets relating to climate resilience, greenhouse gas emissions, water, waste, responsible sourcing, packaging circular economy, energy procurement, life cycle assessment, etc. via direct reports and the broader organization
- ** Influence **cross-functionally and laterally to educate, gain support and embed sustainability agenda into all aspects of the operations organization
- **Set measurable targets and drive **cross-functional teams to commit and deliver the targets.
- **Monitor **industry and Manufacturing/Procurement/Supply chain trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices around sustainability
- ** Engage** with senior leaders in operations to gain buy-in and support execution to address material sustainability issues.
- ** Identify**, **develop and embed** changes across global operations to deliver organizational sustainability ambitions, commitments and targets

Qualifications
**REQUIRED**:

- BS/MS in business or technology field
- 15+ years of experience in hardware technology and/or operations and supply chain management preferably at top-tier technology or consulting companies
- Experience in environmental sustainability, GHG emissions, responsible sourcing, circular economy, or life cycle analysis disciplines.

**SKILLS**:

- A passionate and result-oriented leader with demonstrated success in achieving results in a cross-functional matrix environment
- Experience in leading, developing and implementing large complex programs, ideally in sustainability and operations context
- Demonstrated aptitude for critical decision making with an ability to bring strategic, operational, and financial perspectives to functional teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience in presenting complex concepts, risks and strategies to executives and cross functional teams.
- Inspires cross-functional partnership with a demonstrated record of driving consensus on objectives and trade-offs across the enterprise through collaborative influence.
- Ability to network and influence to build maintaining relationships at executive management level
- Ability to recruit, develop and mentor both direct and indirect reports to support and develop wider sustainability skillset
