We are seeking a talented Program Director for Generation Singapore (GenSG). This person will lead a multi-functional team to achieve desired outcomes across all Generation programs in Singapore.

**Who You’ll Work With
You will be part of Generation: You Employed, Singapore a local charity with a mission to create meaningful career pathways for people facing barriers to employment. We are an affiliate of Generation: You Employed, a global network of non-profit organizations working on a mission to bridge the gap between education and employment systems to prepare, place and support people into meaningful jobs that are otherwise inaccessible. Generation was created in 2014 to help bridge this gap—at speed and scale. Till date, Generation has supported more than 60,000 people of all ages across 17 countries to get into career-launching jobs. Our placement rates are one of the best in the market at nearly 82% of all Generation graduates securing full-time jobs within 90 days from completing the program.

We are able to achieve such outcomes as a result of a robust demand-led methodology to design and deliver profession specific skilling programmes that lead to employment. We’re building proof that this training creates real business outcomes for employers, and lasting career impact for trainees—so everyone has the incentive to invest in skills. Our goal is to help our learners achieve personal and professional success—and fundamentally change their life trajectories. Generation programmes prepare unemployed or underemployed people of all ages, for jobs in four sectors: healthcare, technology, retail/sales, and skilled trades.

**What will you do**

Program Director will report directly to the CEO of Generation Singapore and will lead a team of 8-10 people responsible for marketing, curriculum & instruction, employer engagement and program operation functions.

**Main Responsibilities**
- _Operations strategy and continuous improvement (25%) _
- Conceptualize, implement, and iterate operational workflows and team organization to deliver programs in accordance with the 7-step Generation methodology
- Oversee program evaluation and make data-driven continuous improvements to program operations
- Oversee the development and iteration of operational manuals, best practices and partner capability building materials
- _Program delivery (25%): _
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Generation programs in Singapore to achieve desired outcomes for learners, employers, and funders (employment rates, income increase, diversity hiring etc.)
- Provide operational leadership to functional teams (marketing, program ops, employer engagement and curriculum & instruction) and facilitate seamless collaboration across functions
- Collaborate with Global functional leads to incorporate global best practices and ensure adherence to global quality standards for all Generation programs in Singapore
- _Partner development and engagement (30%) _
- Oversee the employer onboarding and engagement process; build and cultivate relationships with senior leaders at employer partners and training partners
- Be a strong advocate for Generation’s vision and values with external stakeholders and create opportunities of collaboration with employers, training providers and government agencies
- Support the CEO in funder/Government engagement and thought leadership activities including representing Generation at public forums/press meetings
- _Team management and professional development (20%) _:

- Ensure appropriate organisation and staffing, and grow the team as required
- Create a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision making; ensure adherence to Generation’s core values
- Collaborate with the People Development manager to plan and implement staff learning and professional development initiatives

**Experience and mindsets**
- Recommended 8-10 years of team management and leadership experience
- At least 3 years’ experience leading and coaching an operational/sales/business development team to achieve or exceed expected outcomes
- Significant experience coaching and developing team members; experience working in strong collaborative cultures and building/managing cross-functional teams
- Significant experience collaborating with senior stakeholders across public and private organizations (experience with employer management or institutes of higher learning will be a plus)
- Innovative and analytical thinker with a track record of managing projects and delivering operational targets
- High degree of independence and experience with self-management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop data-driven strategy.
- Experience managing relationships and communicating with diverse stakeholders, such as training delivery partners, donors, or employers.
