Our client, a prominent company in the services industry, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to focus on compensation and benefits administration and payroll processing. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient HR operations for a workforce of hundreds of employees. If you are detail-oriented and experienced in HR operations, we want to hear from you.
**Position: HR Generalist - Compensation and Benefits Administration**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Payroll Processing**:Manage payroll for hundreds of employees, handling tasks related to new hires, terminations, overtime computation, allowances, deductions, salary recovery, leave, benefits administration, and employee claims.
- **Income Tax Compliance**:Prepare and submit income tax clearances (IR21) for work pass holders.
- **Regulatory Submissions**:Prepare and submit CPF, IR8A, and government-paid claims.
- **Data Accuracy**:Ensure the accuracy of employee data and implement process control improvements.
- **Reporting**:Prepare payroll reports and brand billing statements.
- **Government and Audit Compliance**:Submit government surveys and assist with the annual audit exercise.
- **Best Practices**:Maintain payroll best practices to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
- **HR Initiatives**:Participate in HR initiatives and projects.
- **Ad-Hoc Duties**:Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll experience for at least 200 employees within an HR department.
- **Education**:Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) or equivalent.
- **Technical Skills**:Experience with Times Software is advantageous.
- **Knowledge**:Strong understanding of the Employment Act, CPF regulations, and income tax legislation.
- **Attention to Detail**:Meticulous with excellent time management skills.
- **Numerical Aptitude**:Strong numerical skills and a high sense of commitment.
- **Software Proficiency**:Proficient in MS Excel.
