This role reports to the Credit Operations Head / Chief Risk Officer Key Responsibilities: - Establishes the appropriate ERM framework including Risk Policies, Metrics, Reporting and Monitoring - Ensure alignment of Risk Management with Bank Strategy, and together with the CRO, provide direction for the allocation of resources for Risk Management - Perform checks on risk-related repositories/ inventories/ registers to ensure data quality and audit-readiness - Perform Enterprise Risk Reporting: - Engage business functions to follow up on reporting on metrics, service provider monitoring based on target reporting timelines - Generate reports using the available Risk Management Tools - Prepare Risk Appetite and Risk Related Dashboards, Heatmaps - Ensure the smooth running of Risk Management Committee meetings, including timely records of accurate minutes, and tracking (to closure), of action items - Collaborate with the Company Secretariat (and relevant office), in ensuring timely submission of all material for Board Risk Committee meetings, including timely closure of action items - Collaborate with all key stakeholders of the Bank to identify and analyse thematic risks and report the same to the Risk Management Committee/ Board Risk Committee - Track action items to closure whenever required - Develop, implement and maintain audit/ review management tools: (a) track Request for Information (RFI) (b) RFI review/ submission workflow (c) management report on RFI progress (c) issue and action tracking (d) report repository - Providing project, programme and portfolio risk analysis, identifying and reporting emerging issues and trends in performance and behaviours - Providing expertise in Portfolio risk and opportunity management, analysing gaps, trends & risks at the portfolio level
- A degree and/or professional qualifications in risk management preferably with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience - Relevant certifications in risk management (e.g. CISA, CRISC, IIA) and/ or data analytics will be advantageous - Good working knowledge on enterprise risk management; operational risk management; governance and internal controls; risk reporting; and management information reporting - Independent, resourceful, meticulous and with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve efficiency, effectiveness and operational rigour by changing and adapting ways to achieve sustainable results - Good verbal/ written communication and interpersonal skills to be able to connect and build good working relationship with stakeholders at all levels
