Start your career with Bank of Singapore as a **Risk Specialist - Product Management Group** The Product Management Group (PMG) Risk Management team focuses on control & governance activities and management of operational & business risks across all PMG Businesses, locations and offerings. The team is responsible for identification, analysis and mitigation of operational risks as well as implementation and assessment of controls within the Product Management Group (PMG). The team partners key stakeholders across three lines of defence in the organization to align and prioritize initiatives in ensuring proper delivery of PMG objectives Key Roles and Responsibilities - Responsible for identification, analysis and mitigation of operational risks as well as implementation and assessment of controls (e.g. Self-Assessment, Operational Risk Indicators, Third Party Risk Management, Technology & Information Risk related matters etc.) within the Product Management Group (PMG) businesses and internal processes - Conduct deep dives of operational losses ("events") to determine sequence of events, control weaknesses, and develop preventive action plans - Monitor and assess risk management and control framework for completeness and adequacy, perform controls and operational risk assessments - Consolidation and analysis of operational risk data to identify areas of excessive risk and ensure past mitigation efforts are having the desired effect - Manage and support projects across PMG through providing risk related advice - Lead, support, coordinate interactions and timely response with Group Audit, and other internal/ external reviewers - Promote general operational risk awareness among staff, as well as support and provide advisory on operational risk related matters to the Business Unit **Qualifications** - Degree in finance/banking or related discipline preferred - At least 5 years of banking experience with exposure with minimum 2 years of experience in Operational or Technology Risk Management - Knowledge of products and processes and understanding of key regulations relating to Investment Products (Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Structured Products, Derivatives, and Loans) - Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. VBA coding skills or data visualization tools preferred - Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to facilitate interactions and able to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders - Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with the capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, prevent and resolve issues
