**What the role is**
- The Programming and Events Branch (PEB) organises keys events and programmes for NParks, such as the NParks Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra® and Parks Festival. PEB also oversees the NParks Explore A Route (NEAR) mobile app, the overall NParks programming calendar, and leads the public engagement for new park developments and the redevelopment of existing parks.
You will be part of the team to conceptualise and organise the above programmes and events, which include procuring necessary services, working with a wide range of private and public sector partners, and developing and executing publicity plans.

**What you will be working on**
- Events Management - Organize concerts and festivals which include tasks such as stage and artiste management, vendor management and logistics planning.
- Public Engagement - working with partners to educate park users on positive etiquette and be part of co-creation of park designs with stakeholders.
- Publicity Plans - Plan and execute marketing campaigns, explore new marketing platforms and develop new creative material for our events and programmes.
- Providing administrative support for contracts under our Branch and our monthly NParks eDM.
- Other day-to-day operational tasks associated with programming and events in NParks.

**What we are looking for**
- Preferably with experience in event management, media and communications and public relations
- Highly motivated individual with initiative, drive, and passion for project/ events management
- Possesses good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to balance working independently and in a team environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office Applications
- Competency in video production, photography and graphic design will be advantageous
- Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
