**The Sales Manager - eCommerce **will execute our Corporate eCommerce strategy and activate activity booking engines to maximize online revenue and profitability. He/She is expected to conduct all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term relationship with third parties, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives.
**Our Expectations**:
- Focus on growing hotel top line online revenue by executing the eCommerce strategy and advise on appropriate on-strategy eCommerce priorities and tactics.
- Strong understanding of online sales strategy and effective implementation / execution.
- Assists in the development and sustaining or soliciting online business / promotions through third parties’ agencies.
- Actively support and drive sales initiatives initiated by Pan Pacific Hotel Group eg booking direct strategic direction.
- Research eCommerce opportunities in all market segments: business transient, leisure, group catering and food and beverage.
- Maintain and update the brand and hotel website content including marketing messaging, imagery, captions, links, PDFs, hotel alerts etc.
- Conduct regular audits of hotel website to ensure each hotel is optimized for high quality custom images, content, links and accurate translations and work with hotels on corrective actions.
- Work with the Director of Marketing Communications to coordinate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics and manage the pay-per-click keyword strategy.
- Verify that the hotel is fully activating and optimize presence on approved internet e-channels.
- Conduct regular research on various online platforms to monitor rates parity and troubleshoot performance.
- Serve as a resource for the sales and operations team regarding internet distribution issues, questions or new programs.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
We are looking for a self-motivated 'hunter' with excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as good understanding of the eCommerce platform. You should have an eye for detail yet creative and nimble with ability to adapt to ever changing requirements and needs of customers.
