Rapha is a market-leading premium cycling brand, with a mission to help the world live their life by bike. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to support our rapidly growing APAC region. In this role, you will be responsible for the region's financial and accounting policies, systems, processes and regulatory requirements. You will prepare management reporting including key metrics and reports to contribute to business strategy.
Currently we are active in the following countries: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australiaas well as rapidly growing online sales to other markets in the APAC region.
**Key Accountabilities**:
**The Finance Manager for APAC will be directly responsible for the following**:

- Monthly management accounting and reporting to Group Finance (London) including posting accruals, prepayments, completing balance sheet recs and variance analysis
- Manage regional bank accounts and complete weekly bank reconciliations
- Oversee accounting policies, processes, procedures to meet appropriate accounting standards for entities in the region
- Conduct ongoing regular reviews of financial systems and controls and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage requests for information from regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all local and local tax rules and legislation
- Produce and provide information for internal and external reporting/audit purposes
- Participate where requested in regulatory discussions with regulators in APAC
- Act as key business support to Country Managers and Regional Managing Director for finance related queries
- Work closely with Commercial Finance team (London) to give local knowledge and view on commercial opportunities

**The Finance Manager for APAC will be accountable for completion of the following activities, working with third party providers in some countries**:

- Statutory accounting and tax filings for all APAC entities
- Oversee customs and duty returns and payments for the APAC region by supply chain partners
- Manage regional payroll including all local tax authority submissions and remittances

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience in a similar role, managing finance in some or all of the countries mentioned
- Fluent written and spoken English essential
- Working knowledge of other languages in the countries mentioned would be beneficial
- Keen interest in cycling or other supports would be helpful
- Experience of cross border trading with physical stock
- Experience working for a European group would be advantageous
- Qualified accountant with appropriate local certification
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel with strong numeracy skills
- Experience working with Microsoft ERP solutions would be advantageous
