The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, developing and executing financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic support to commercial initiatives throughout the APAC region. Client Details As a leading regional name in digital entertainment and media distribution, the company combines innovation with robust financial governance to drive sustainable growth. They are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their Singapore team. Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Cash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital Monitor liquidity, optimize cash flow, and manage treasury operations to support the company's trading and distribution cycles. Inventory & Cost Management Oversee inventory accounting and valuation across physical and digital product lines. Ensure accurate cost of goods sold (COGS) tracking, inventory provisioning, and alignment with sales forecasts to minimize obsolescence and stockouts. Support Distribution & Trading Operations Collaborate with supply chain and commercial teams to align financial planning with product lifecycle, procurement cycles, and regional distribution strategies. Provide financial insights into pricing, margin optimization, and channel profitability. Business Partnering & Strategic Support Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to evaluate commercial initiatives, product launches, and regional expansion plans. Provide financial models and scenario analyses to support decision‐making. Audit, Tax & Regulatory Compliance Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, internal controls, and ERP/reporting systems to support scalability and operational efficiency. Profile Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA preferred. At least 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong distribution finance operations background. Strong knowledge of regional tax, audit, and compliance frameworks. Experience in entertainment, media, gaming, or tech distribution is a plus. Proficient in financial systems (Xero) and advanced Excel skillset. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
