Platform and Transformation ("P&T") is the team responsible under BOS Global COO ("GCOO") to build the WM Platform of the future across all offerings, all teams, and all locations. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives including building Channels, Wealth & Execution platforms as well as Regulatory and Risk Transformation. The team is also in charge of financial markets and client data as well as the Agile practice at BOS. We are looking for an Area Product Owner (APO) of our Aladdin system (BlackRock) to focus on enhancements to our portfolio management capabilities. The role holder supports key transformation initiatives impacting portfolio management capabilities, in partnership with the technology team. The APO will support Aladdin Product Owner, ensuring that the system is robust in supporting the overall business and the risks are managed accordingly. Main Duties: - The APO supports the PO in defining the strategic product vision and product backlog for Aladdin, with customer experience/journey at the core of the design and priorities. - Assisting in the gathering and analysis of end user requirements - Partner with technology teams to refine user stories, including acceptance criteria. - Support the PO to coordinate dependencies with internal and external teams. - Coordinate and validate system requirements gathering and drive acceptance testing phase with end users, testers, and relevant product teams. - Monitor and ensure platform readiness and uptime for efficient daily use. - Work closely with technology stakeholders to track platform related incidents and defects to timely and permanent closure. Monitor and ensure platform readiness and uptime for efficient daily use. - Handle end user queries related to platform functionality. - Conduct regular platform training and onsite guidance to end users. - Liaise with business process owners to align processes within platform. **Qualifications** **Work Experience, SKILLS, and education requirements** - A good degree and/or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or Technology - In depth knowledge of Aladdin Wealth / Enterprise (BlackRock) - Experience in Discretionary Portfolio Management products, processes and best practices - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Junior, or Area Product Owner, in delivering cross-functional technology-related projects in banking - Sound understanding and articulation of Wealth Management business products, processes, and best practices. - Experience in driving changes with Agile methodology. - Strong advocate for operational efficiency and enhanced end user experience - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills coupled with strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office tools. - Demonstrable ability to engage closely and confidently with business and IT stakeholders of all levels. - Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure, work well independently, and be a team player.
