Product Owner

**About the role**

As the product owner of the Web3 Gaming Operations, you will be responsible for making Avocado DAO the premier destination for Web3 gaming opportunities. Towards this goal, you will oversee the day to day running of the gaming operations team and the development of user engagement products.

With the gaming operations team, you will help set strategy and drive excellence, with the goal to provide the best Scholarship experience for our community. Web3 gaming communities will choose Avocado DAO over competitors for the excellent scholar support services, variety in Web3 Game options and regular, highly engaging community events (both online and offline).

You will also oversee the development of user engagement products. Working hand in hand with our development team to deliver a product that will improve engagement within our community of gamers and attract new users.

You will partner closely with the business development team as they source partnerships to ensure that where applicable, they are onboarded effectively to Avocado.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company and management of staff with guidance from and direct report to the CEO and Head of Operations. Key areas of operations include:

- Community management and growth
- Player onboarding and ongoing-support functions
- Web3 Scholarship Performance Management
- Planning and launching of new game offerings
- NFT and gaming asset acquisition
- Game research and testing
- Work with the Head of engineering and direct the product development of the User Engagement platform. Success is measured by improvement in user engagement across DAO initiatives and increase in DAU.
- Monitor internal operations and business performance, diagnosing real and potential problems swiftly, and establishing corrective measures as required.
- Enhance the Company’s capabilities to partner and integrate with emerging and established game partners.
- Create and implement a gaming operation team org chart and hiring roadmap to develop a high performing and well-coordinated team, capable of supporting accelerated growth and rapid adoption of new technologies and gaming partners.
- Prepare and implement strategic and operational plans and actions to ensure that systems, procedures, staffing, support services and capacity are available when needed and at required levels.
- Set performance targets, track success metrics, KPIs, objectives and performance measurements for the company and the team

**Your Background**
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Product Owner positions, preferably within the field of technology, blockchain and/or fintech.
- Possess strong strategic mindset, well developed conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to understand and improve.
- Abilities to set achievable and measurable goals for performance and growth, and encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Early-stage business development experience demonstrated success in driving urgent, complex projects with the ability to pivot or change course based on the current landscape.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, highly-impactful social capacity and demonstrated relationship management skills.
- A very strong passion for the potential of Blockchain technology and strong interest in working in the industry is a must. Knowledge and experience of Crypto/Blockchain is not a must but will be highly desirable.

**Salary**: From $4,500.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)

- Product Owner positions: 5 years (preferred)
