**We help the world run better** **Job Summary** The Demand Research Senior Manager is a member of the APJ Digital Hub Management team, and a critical leader in our Midmarket business. They are responsible for leading all data resources who data intelligence to guide SAP-led Demand Generation campaigns, across a population of nearly 200 Customer Facing resources in 5 Market Units across APJ (ANZ, IND, JPN, KOR, and SEA). They manage both our Demand Research Associates, who sit in Market and provide account intelligence and contact information for campaign planning and execution and our Technical Demand Research Associates, who conduct high volume tasks such as target list building, customer contact database cleansing and drive the improvement of tools and processes. **Key responsibilities & Tasks**: - Lead a cross function team of >10 DRAs and 3 Technical DRAs - Identify more of the addressable market for APJ Midmarket team by leveraging multiple data platform including internal and external data sources - Responsible to build the business process to bring the best data intelligence with ability to communicate and confirm demand generation plan with respective demand sources within each MU - Passion for recognizing, analyzing and solving a variety of problems related to sales and marketing - Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats - Ability to generate reports from various internal and external data sources - Great attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work - Ability organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines **Foundational Competencies** - Business Acumen and analytical skills to understand our prospects’ desired ‘Business Outcomes’ and how we map this to the SAP product portfolio - Stakeholder Management skills to build trusted relationships with and energize core stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Partners, Sales Ops) - Sales skills to understands sales and territory planning, the sales process, customer lifecycle, buying signals, how to articulate and quantify a value proposition, how to qualify and progress opportunities to close - Project Management: Prioritizes tasks to efficiently drive results - Analytical Thinking: Uses logic to arrive at solutions - Problem Solving: Develops empirically driven recommendations - Communication: Able to communicate well in straight forward situations **Education & Qualification**: - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree - 7-10 years professional business experience, preferred in enterprise software sales, marketing, sales enablement or analytics/operations. - Experience in program planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities in new or emerging markets. - Experience in integrated campaign planning, demand generation, digital marketing and project management best practices. - Proficient understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition. - Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills **We build breakthroughs together** **We win with inclusion** SAP’s culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels included and can run at their best.
