Assistant Crew Manager

Job Requirements:
1. Minimum GCE A Level;
2. Minimum 4 years experience in Crew Manning duties

3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel & words) & Outlook.

Job Decription:
- Sourcing for crew and arrange interview
- Prepares crew change plan and rotation plan of re-hirable crew in consultation with principals and SI.
- Prepares line-up for approval of principals and SI.
- Check and maintenance of crew personal data
- Check the validity of crew document, STCW certificates and licenses
- Check an ex-crew is re-hirable based on previous appraisals
- Preparation of Seafarers’ Contract of Employment in consultation with GM
- Check and approval pre-joining expenses
- Follow up and check ART and PCR test for onsigners
- Application MPA online COE for officers on Singapore Flag
- Application MPA online for crew change sign on / off
- Liaise with crew processors and manning agents to arrange the crew change
- Check and arrange the crew Flag documents to send on board
- Check and approve Provident Fund for Filipinos
- Follow up performance appraisal report upon Top 4 sign off
- Liaise with Training Centers or manning agents for crew to attend training courses
- Assist and co-ordinate to arrange Top 4 for briefing through MS Teams.
- Do briefing for Top 2 when is non-Chinese officers.
- Check and approve provident fund and Standby pay for after each crew change
- Check officers matrix and upload in Rightship website matrix when required
- Liaise with local agent for the crew change and P&I case if any
- Co-ordinate and follow up status of crew under P&I with manning agents and accounting dept.
- Updating crew P&I status.
- Compilation of crew P&I Insurance claims when required
- Extend to any Emergency Crew Matters
- Liaise with IFS for supply of provisions arrangement when required
- Update and follow up Unions for ITF Blue cards
- Liaise with vessels to send the ITF Special Agmt & Blue cards
- Check on board wage accounting when required
- Liaise with agents to arrange unannounced D&A test for vessel
- Calculate HRB for crew on board when required.
- Calculate delivery crew change cost when required.
